Will this be enough to reverse the spell cast over them? Together, they are forced to work with each other while eventually finding empathy and bonding along the way. ![]() How they are initially paralyzed by dread and astonishment but quickly decide to cooperate with each other’s lives is a hilarious story to tell. Suddenly, Nando, in Sabrina’s guise, tackles beauty makeover and family problems while the socialite-as-basketball hunk has fun with Dad and basketball mate’s hilarious antics, fending off an obsessed landlady and endangering a forthcoming basketball championship game. ![]() Both are so absorbed in their own little worlds until they bump into an old beggar (Lou Veloso) in the streets which magicked them into each other’s bodies for a mayhem full of unfamiliar challenges and complications. Nando (Vhong Navarro) is a basketball superstar, who tries to make ends meet for his family, in his community while Sabrina (Lovi Poe) is a rich socialite model who leads a very charmed life. This native American proverb pretty sums up Regal Film’s latest comedic offering entitled “Woke Up Like This” where two different people switch bodies in a Freaky Friday way and sparks fly. “If you want to understand my world, walk a mile in my moccasins.” ![]()
